Fairweather Park
A great place to stroll or sit and relax while enjoying the stunning view of one of the most beautiful harbors in the Northwest.
Cedar Posts Sculpture
Native artist Susan Point’s red cedar house posts sculpture honors the enduring presence of the Coast Salish people in this area. Originally used inside a long house to support roof beams, traditional house posts tell the stories of the family that raised them. The Posts were installed in the Port park in 2004.
Popeye Sculpture
Resident harbor seal “Popeye” named for her one glazed over eye has been in the harbor for about 15 years. She is known to so many port guests and customers. This sculpture was paid for by the Temcov Foundation and sculpted by local artist Matthew Gray Palmer.
Music in the Park
Each summer from late June through early September the Port hosts the “Summer Music Concert Series”. This free series of concerts in our waterfront park features local musicians from the islands & surrounding areas. Concerts are Friday evenings & Sunday afternoons. Bookend your weekend on the island with this great music experience.
